Advent prayer in the hallway is a wonderful way to begin the day. Students sing, pray and read a bible verse together as a community of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. If you are in school between 8:25 and 8:30 pop up to the 2nd floor for a beautiful prayer service.
Math continues with understanding the meaning of multiplication. Science with magnets fill our afternoons. In reading students are focused on Non-fiction (informative) texts. Please help them notice the many text features: caption, heading, table of contents, index, illustration, photo, diagram, map, bold print and italic print.
Report cards, Iowa test results and new Star test results will be sent home today. Please keep all reports but send the envelope back to school to be reused for the next trimester.
Art in the morning with Mrs. Desclos begins our day. The spelling test will be completed in the morning too. The 3rd graders will watch the Geography Bee in the afternoon to cheer on their siblings, friends and 6th grade buddies. Library will end our day.
